Mountain tourism, Soudah projects and trade in Khamis Mushait
Mountain tourism shapes many of Asir's facilities. About 25 km from Abha, Soudah Development, owned by the Public Investment Fund, is building Soudah Peaks, turning the area into a mountain destination with hotels, residential units and commercial space in phases, with phase one targeted for 2027.
That creates two kinds of need: construction sites with contractors and suppliers that need gate and equipment guarding, and operating hospitality facilities that need lobby and parking guards, busiest in summer, when events such as Al-Soudah Season take place.
Khamis Mushait is one of the largest cities in the region, with active markets, shopping centres and warehouses.
