Uniformed Saudi female security guard at the entrance of a women’s section
Your obligations

When your site needs female guards

Article 5 of the Private Civil Security Guarding Law requires all civil security guards to be Saudi, and that applies to female guards exactly as to men. The amended Article 2 of its executive regulation, published in Umm Al-Qura on 16 May 2025, requires guarding during working hours at women’s sports clubs, and round-the-clock guarding at housing for female workers of HR companies.

In government contracts, the EXPRO contracting controls for guarding services require the contractor to assign female staff to women’s sections, and staff may not enter areas reserved for the other gender without written permission. The Ministry of Health security guide for health facilities bars men from single women’s housing and gives female security staff the task of logging visitors and maintenance teams.

On working hours, Articles 149 and 150 of the Labour Law were repealed by Royal Decree M/5 dated 7/1/1442H (2020). Article 150 had barred women’s night work, and a list of hazardous jobs issued by the Minister took their place. Our female guards work night shifts and around the clock, and the shift pattern for each female post is agreed with you in the proposal.

These obligations stay with your organisation. Our part is to give you Saudi female guards, supervision and a written record that make them easy to meet every day, under SAIS licence 2611000012, Category One, valid to 28 April 2027.

Challenges

The pressures of staffing female security posts

01

Women-only spaces need a woman at the door

In ladies’ gyms, salons and spas, and in the women’s sections of malls, banks and offices, entry control and the searching of women are in practice done by female guards. When no female guard is on the post, the women’s entrance is either left uncontrolled or handed to a staff member with no security role.

02

Female guards are harder to find and to cover

Fewer women than men are available for guarding posts, and covering leave and absence on female posts is harder. One absent female guard with no ready replacement can leave a whole women’s entrance uncovered for the day. So every contract with female posts needs a written replacement plan from day one.

03

Privacy, courtesy and trust

A female guard deals every day with visitors, mothers, students and patients. The role calls for careful checks with respect for privacy, confidentiality, and respect for the areas set aside for each gender, in both directions. Any awkward moment at the entrance reflects on the whole organisation, not only on the guard.

04

Searching at the entrance at peak times

At events, wedding halls and malls, women queue at the women’s search lane at peak times when there are too few female guards. Waiting times grow and the quality of the search drops at the same moment.

05

Mixed sites, two teams, one standard

Hospitals, universities and complexes with men’s and women’s sections need a male team and a female team working to the same instructions. Separate suppliers, or different instructions for each team, create gaps at the handover points between sections. In government contracts, the EXPRO controls require female staff for women’s sections, so female guards become a condition of the contract itself.

Solutions

Female guarding solutions mapped to each pressure

Women’s entrance control

Saudi female guards at women’s entrances and sections, checking entry, logging visitors, directing them courteously and escalating anything unusual to the shift supervisor and your management. Post instructions, visitor-facing conduct and uniform are agreed with you in advance to suit your site. We provide female guards who speak Arabic and English.

Searching of women, in private

Bag checks for female visitors, with a hand-held metal detector where your policy calls for it, in a separate women’s lane that protects privacy, to written instructions agreed with you for each post.

Ladies’ gyms, salons and spas

Female guards during working hours at women’s sports clubs, where guarding during working hours is a legal requirement, and at ladies’ salons and spas, controlling entry and protecting clients’ privacy.

Girls’ schools and female campuses

Female guards at the gates of girls’ schools and female campuses, managing students’ arrival and departure at drop-off and pick-up times and controlling visitor entry.

Hospital women’s areas and female housing

Female guards in women’s and maternity sections, female staff housing and HR-company female worker housing, including night shifts and around the clock, logging visitors, escorting maintenance teams and carrying out inspection rounds, along the lines the Ministry of Health security guide sets for single women’s housing. In hospitals, duties include checking that discharge permits for patients and children leaving the women’s and maternity units are correct, under the hospital’s procedures.

Mixed teams on one contract

Male and female guards under one supervision structure, each working in the areas set for them, to the same instructions and the same records, following the gender-area principle in the EXPRO controls.

How we operate

How we deploy and manage your female team

Site survey and female post plan

We survey the site with you to confirm the female posts, their hours and the rest and prayer area, then write instructions for each post. The start date and handover plan are set out in the proposal, based on the size of your site and your timeline.

A supervisor on every shift

The shift supervisor checks attendance and standards, handles anything unexpected and speaks directly with your management, with a clear handover point for the women’s sections, so you have one point of contact on every shift.

Daily logs and a monthly review

A daily log of visitors, events and patrols, a written report for every incident, and a monthly review with your management on attendance, observations and improvements.

A female replacement when a guard is absent

If a female guard is absent or on leave, we send a female replacement who covers the same post to the same instructions, so cover stays continuous for the whole contract.

Female relief guards for breaks

Every plan includes a female relief guard to cover women’s posts during breaks, in line with MHRSD work-environment requirements for the guarding sector, so women’s entrances stay staffed at every moment.

Surge for events and seasons

We plan extra female guards with you for events, weddings, Ramadan and seasonal peaks, either added to your annual contract or on a separate seasonal contract, led by the same supervisors.

FAQ

01Are female guards available in my city?

Yes. Saudi female guards are available in all cities, including night shifts and around the clock, and we cover all 13 regions of the Kingdom, including Riyadh, Jeddah, Makkah, Madinah and the Eastern Province. Our office is in Al Olaya, Riyadh.

02Are your female guards Saudi?

Yes. The law requires all civil security guards to be Saudi, and all our male and female guards are Saudi, working under SAIS licence 2611000012, Category One.

03What search duties do female guards carry out?

The search duties for each post are agreed with you in writing in the post instructions: access control only, bag checks, or bag checks with a hand-held metal detector, depending on your policy.

04Is guarding mandatory at ladies’ gyms?

Yes. The amended Article 2 of the executive regulation of the Private Civil Security Guarding Law requires women’s sports clubs to have guarding during working hours. For salons, spas and other ladies’ venues, we set the need with you based on the venue and its hours.

05Do you guard female worker housing?

Yes. The amended Article 2 requires housing for female workers of HR companies to have guarding around the clock. Inside the housing, female guards log visitors, escort maintenance teams and carry out inspection rounds, and the proposal sets out the full 24-hour guarding plan.

06Do female guards work night shifts, and how are shifts set?

Yes, our female guards work night shifts and around the clock. The hours of each female post, its shift pattern and the rest area are agreed with you in the proposal, with a female relief guard for breaks and a female replacement for absences. Leave and personal circumstances are planned for with replacements prepared in advance.

07Can one contract cover male and female guards?

Yes. One contract can cover male and female guards under one supervision structure, with each team working in the areas set for it, to the same instructions and records.

08Do you provide female guards for women’s lanes at events and weddings?

Yes. We provide female guards for women’s search lanes at events, exhibitions and wedding halls, on a seasonal contract or added to your existing contract.

09Do you provide female protection officers for VIP women?

Yes. VIP and close protection (bodyguard) services are licensed and part of our services, including female protection officers who accompany female guests and VIPs to a plan agreed in advance.

10How is the price for female guards built?

Price is built from the number of female posts multiplied by the hours of cover and the number of shifts. The female relief guard for breaks, the supervisor and any seasonal surge are then added. Every line is shown in the proposal so you can compare like for like.

11Do female guards count toward our Saudisation?

Saudi guards contracted through a guarding company can count toward your Nitaqat ratio under the programme’s conditions; we explain this in the proposal.

12How fast do you respond to a quote request?

We contact you within 15 minutes of receiving your request to understand what you need, then arrange the site survey and send a detailed proposal.
